Bears, Beets, Battle Star Galactica

Bears, Beets, Battle Star Galactica

Take an exisiting movie poster and make it look silly. My final project involved an Ewok who wanted to be in a movie with Arnold Schwarzengger. This is his idea of a poster.

Bears, Beets, Battle Star Galactica… Baby

The Office is hands down my favorite show. So far, no matter how many times I watch the series it never gets old. I decided to use their Netflix background and the classic “Bears, beets, Battle Star Galactic” Dwight refers to throughout the series, as the goofy thing to add. My photoshopping skills were used beautifully throughout this project and I think my end result looks amazing.

Behind the Story:

I used the Adobe Photoshop app to complete this assignment. I am getting quite comfortable with this application and have found it very useful in my everyday photo editing tasks. I began this assignment by finding the Netflix background photo for The Office, a photo of a bear, Battle Starship, and a beet. From there, I used Adobe Photoshop to cut and paste the appropriate photos in the right location.

The Process:

Scrolling through Assignment Bank I found this Visual prompt. First, I decided on my poster and silly images. Second, I searched google to find the appropriate images and saved them to my iPad. Third, I entered the images into the Adobe Photoshop app and cut around the images and pasted them into my poster. The use of Adobe Photoshop allowed this whole process to run smoothly and made my end result just what I wanted.
